When an economy car is enough
It is enough if up to four people are travelling and the luggage fits in one or two suitcases. The five doors make getting in and out of the back easy, and both models are manual: if you need an automatic, you have to look at another category.
Economy or compact
The difference is one seat: economy cars take four people and compacts take five. The doors are the same — five — and so is the luggage, one or two suitcases against two.
